Jay Moore, Pastor, came to Jefferson Street Baptist Church in August 2002. He graduated from Brewton Parker College and attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as pastor of various churches in Georgia since 1982, as well as serving on the staff of the Georgia Baptist Foundation for several years. He and his wife, Lamara, have one daughter, Jessi. Jay enjoys playing Monopoly with his daughter and fetch with their dog, Pepper.

Matt Rodgers, Minister of Children & Youth, began serving at Jefferson Street Church in February 2005. Matt is a graduate of Brewton Parker College and is currently enrolled at NOBTS Extension in Atlanta. He has been in student ministry since 1998. Matt is married to Jif. They have one son, Matthew, and a dog named Sugar. Matt likes to hunt, fish, and participate in all kinds of outdoor sports.

Bobby Jones, Minister of Music & Education has been on staff at Jefferson Street Church since July 2006.  Bobby is a graduate of Georgia State University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Wanda have two sons, Daniel and Joseph.

Judy English, Office Manager & Church Secretary, is now in her twenty-fifth year of service at Jefferson Street Church. Judy and her husband, Tom, have one son, Dwayne and daughter-in-law, Emmee.  Judy enjoys walking with her husband in the evenings, she also likes to needlepoint, read short inspirational stories and bake sweets.

Nicky Blum, Financial & Publication Secretary, came to work at the church in June 2005. Nicky is married to Billy.   They have three children, Kaylee, Carly and Chance.  She and her family attend Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Herbert Maddox, Janitor, began cleaning the church in November 2003. Herbert is married to Julie. He enjoys singing in his church choir and playing baseball and basketball.

Patricia Nuss, Organist, has played for the church since January 1998. Patricia and her husband, James have two children, Anna and Raymond. Patricia gives private music lessons, and enjoys spending time with her family, reading and cooking.

Betty Ann King, Preschool Director, began serving the little ones in the church in 1965. Betty Ann also is the accompanist for the Cane & Able choir. She is married to Bernard. They have three daughters, Felicia Ann Layfield, Teresa Ann Didriksen, LeAnn Register. Betty Ann loves spending time with her grandchildren.
